Final exams are fast approaching (thank fucking GOD!) I'm so over this semester and really need a summer break. Heres to actually passing all my exams. Hopefully i'll get some voice acting gigs here soon too. Until then, later.

Thats right, I'm 22 years old now and just as broke as ever. I relly need to get some VA work. TO THE THREADS!!!! *whoosh!*

Well, it was a long year, but overall, a much more productive one that the last. I doubled the number of flash animations My voice appeared in on newgrounds from the previous in addition to being involved with various radio dramas and sound projects. I think this voice acting stuff might actually work out for me in the long run :)

Happy New year all. Here's to an even greater and busier 2012

So, yeah. Nothing much to report. Just wrote this post cause i felt like it. How many of you out there do that? Just write something that has no purpose for others to see just cause you feel like it? I know I do.

But anyways, on to serious matters... uh... hm... well, i have a girlfriend now, so thats good news. lets see... gosh, who knew this would be so hard... man, uh.... ya know what, let me get back to you on that.

... and I will probably have one soon! Its been a year since my last relationship both started and ended. This time, however, i think i really found someone whose going to make my life even more awesome than it already is. Wish me luck invisible friends!

I decided recently to take a look back on the things I've done over the the short time period I've been voice acting. It didn't take very long, as i haven't been involved in much yet, but most of what I've have been involved in, I've been proud of. One of the things I've really noticed is how much better my demo reels have gotten. I knew my very first demo reel sucked, but when i went back and listened to it again, i couldn't help but cringe.
"Seriously Richard?" i asked myself, "You seriously let this piece of crap slide?"
"Yes," i responded back to myself. "Because you and I both know that at that time, i wasn't as good at recording and editing my stuff as I am now."
"True that!" I said. I then high-fived myself.
But yeah, i started voice acting in November 2009. This November will be the two year marker. In that time i have had my voice in around 20 different things (Some of which were never released, some of which have yet to be released, and some of which have been in the works for over a year and I've been asked do do voices for continually. (That one is going to be jam packed full of RLFHOG3)) I've done three different Demo reels, i recorded an acapella version of the tetris theme which had gathered great acclaim and has been used in a flash video. I landed the best role i could ever possibly ask for about a year ago as well in the form of "Sin" from Comick's "In The Dark" series. Still waiting anxiously for that one to come out because once it does, I'm absolutely certain my name is going to become much more recognizable on newgrounds at least and people are going to come to me with voice acting work instead of me having to constantly seek it out.
On the eve of 2010, I was even told by none other that John St. John (The voice of Duke Nukem) that I had the potential to be a great voice actor and that has kept me going strong for a while and helped me punch through the rough patches that I've encountered in my life. (Not that a single, virgin, never been kissed, non-smoking, non-drug abusing, 21 year old collage student has any extremely bad rough patches anyways, but you get the idea.)

For those of you out there who do take the time to read my blogging on newgrounds when ever i decide to post it, i thank you. You help me remember that, as small a name as I am, i do have a fan or two... or 62 according to my facebook page.

Anyways, it's been a fun two years. I look forward to plenty more and, hopefully, many more fans that look up to me.

Vacation. The very word sends the unfortunate into a fit of rage and envy the likes of which those that go on vacation regularly have never known. I just got back from one such vacation! Went to Cyprus, Greece and Athens, Greece. Met a bunch of family I've never met before and ate a bunch of food i never knew existed. Twas quite a fun vacation. First international vacation too. (Only my second vacation in my lifetime though.) I've got a bunch of new shit coming out here soon so look for it.

No it's not "In The Dark" but it is something I've been anticipating for a while now. "The Many Kirbys Collab" has finally been released on Newgrounds! You can here my voice in the following animations: Paint Kirby, Freeze Kirby, and Cook Kirby. In each, i am every single character that has a voice. (and i also wrote the script for the Fire Kirby animation. XD) The only problem with this is that my audio craps out at certain points and i know for sure that when i recorded it and listened to it back, it didn't do that so it's not my fault.
Either way, you should go watch it right now.

It's spring break now for me so I'll be chilling out for the next week. Then right after that, It's my 21st birthday on March 14th! This next couple of weeks, i have a feeling, are going to be super radical!
